@mythbuster43 - Sigh. If this troll had ever read a book he might as well have blamed it on Ian Fleming. There were scenes in the books that would never have made it into a movie (okay, until recently)- like where Bond, naked, is restrained into a chair missing the center part of the seat - leaving his dangly bits, well, dangling. While being questioned, his interrogator would snap a (if I recall correctly) cane rugbeater under the seat. Bond survived that to bed many women - but never had kids.

@47f0 Rich Lowry blamed the Abu Gharib torture scandal on Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction."
I wish that was a joke, but it's not.

hes using language that essentially tells us that he can criticize anyone or everyone without getting himself involved. So many, i thinks, i believes, its ridiculous. Might as well invite some gr. 9 pro debater into the discussion to spout out this bullshit.

Rich Lowry has a big mouth but ais an intellectual Liliputan. He only brings ignorance, hatred and bigotry to every discussion. Why do responsible stations invite him to spout his nonsense? Please spare us the pain and suffering.

When the hell did PEE WEE HERMAN get into politics???

Using the Bush-Cheney standards, the Clinton administration was just as effective in keeping the nation safe from foreign terrorists. After all, FOREIGN terrorists never struck again during his term after the first attack on the WTC in '93. Also, the men behind that attack were caught, TRIED IN FEDERAL COURT, and are all serving multiple life sentences.

Three words: Former Young Republican.
Anyone ever seen PCU? David Spade's character... that's Lowry.

Rich is mostly wrong, but he identifies Bush's main accomplishment: Preventing another terrorist attack on US soil. No small feat. Imagine the consequences of another attack in NYC or DC (even one 1/2 the size of 9/11). We would be living in a sustained state of fear and the economy would be in even worse shape due to a lack of confidence/investment in US institutions. He did his duty on that front (albeit with some legally suspect means). Lets hope Obama does too.

Seriously why they so happy for saving an unprovoked war?? Why can't we they talk about an exist stragedy and get our troops home they have been there long enough.
Rich Lowry. What a tragic, pathetic little midget to follow in Buckley's footsteps. I didn't agree with Buckley much of the time, but at least he thought about his reasons. Lowry just spews talking points and gets a strange tightness in his pants that makes him "sit up a little straighter" on the couch when he sees Sarah Palin.
This man is an embarrassment to douchebags everywhere.
