Happy to share it with you and all Carpenters fans. I think Richard is such a gentleman. He spoke of 'Lovelines' as the last Carpenters album, but thankfully that wasn't true. Probably because of the Carpenters revival in 1990.

thanks ever so much for this interview, love Richard talking about the carpenters, great composer, musician, I so miss very sadly Karen, so Richard kind of fills in the blanks, but it's hard to listen to without Karen, she melted the hardest of hearts but so grateful for the upload, great man Richard carpenter, not to mention songwriter, composer etc.. lol, thank you..

I was a music major at CSULB (where they attended) when the Women's Choir shared the stage with them at the Long Beach Theater for a Christmas Show. It was a a wonderful experience. Her beautiful alto melted us all when she sang Ave Maria.
