Hey my QUAKE ONE handle was SILENT_ASSASSIN on mplayer.com and heat.net i played against the owner and staff of heat.net many times and almost won money and prizes i came in 5th place needed at least 3rd!:-) .LOL I know some elite Quake players were named GREMLINN and RHSIA If any old Quake players recognize my handle HOLLER! I cant believe its been 15 YEARS!

@MultiArmyRanger no lol 1996. Quake was made by the developers of Doom. Quake revolutionised computer games and it brought the multiplayer effect to 3D. It held the record for the best online multiplayer game for 5 years consecutively (no game has beaten that to date)... It won best action game of the year two times... 1996 (original game) and 1997 (its additional mission pack 1 won action game of the yearby various mags). It had the best graphics at that time with the 1st 3D game with multiplay

@nooblet911 yea, 3DFX cards were nice. I doubled my framerate, got 4 times the resolution, and better image quality just buy buying that card back then.
