Bowling Green Township's "Trash" Website Information 2011

Short video editorial pointing out how the township's current "official website" does NOT have current information to keep residents informed before major topics are brought to vote and put into law. Using the recently enacted Exclusive One Hauler, Township Wide trash hauling mandate as example to clearly show this point. The Fiscal Officer fails to publish ANY meeting agendas prior to meetings with the newest posting being over a year old. Meeting minutes are several months old before being posted on-line. Legal notices such as the one shown in this video are also NEVER posted on the township's official website. The vote on the exclusive trash hauling contract was taken with ONLY one bid received and is a 3 year contract. The trustees voted prior to an opportunity for the public to have any reasonable input with limited public comment time opened ONLY after the vote was taken.

We have Obamacare telling us we HAVE to purchase a personal service. We have Watkins care where an official on the fully funded taxpayerr paid Township Health Care plan put an additional illegal check in his pocket EVERY month for years and NOW: We have little dictators telling us if we want a trash pickup service then we MUST use the ONE they tell us to use. They say we have a CHOICE to do it or NOT do it. Choice = take it or haul your own trash. SOME CHOICE!

What is the point of a website having agendas posted if they are never there before a meeting? How can a taxpayer know what will be talked about at any upcoming meeting? Not everyone is able to come to every meeting. If Dogwood wants trash pickup exclusive to save personal money then why did Trustees force EVERYONE else to do it too? Morons at the table = losing our rights to chose personal services paid for out of our own pockets.
