Although best known for the popular recording of "(At) The End (Of The Rainbow)" from 1958, Earl was really one of the great jazz pianists/organists/vocalists. He was heavily influenced by the work of Nat King Cole, and his voice has even been mistaken for Nat's on several of his recordings. His interpretation of "Old Man River" is jazz at its best.
Never came across this song. Very Very good. I'm glad to discover Earl Grant's music. Only heard of At the end of a rainbow which I adore very much. Thanks for having his musiic here on Youtube that we may remember the gift of his music. Peace be with you.
