DC's fan base are the women in the idol audience. DA's fan base during the show were mostly tweens. DC had SEX appeal while DA had CUTE appeal. SEXY beats CUTE. DC changed every song he sang so it suited him. Karoake is not his middle name.
DA might have a better voice (but that is very subjective) but DC is the better performer. DA might get to DC's level is he goes out and lives life away from his parents to get some perspective on life. DA's biggest handicap was parenting.

@ilovedrums71 I think it's fair to say that tons of tweens, etc., were texting & power voting for David A. also so it works both ways. Cook still would have won no matter what.

Pitchy, pitchy & pitchy...he's just OK!!! Sorry guys...just my opinion...I'm not floored at all:(. David A. was better...he just chose not to hide behind his instruments. He could play a mean piano!

nichollez, actually, i dont think it sounded terrible at all, his range was good and he rocked it man, don't compare him to jobros/hannah montana, coz its very different. peace man.
