This is my Acer Travelmate 4600 playing Half Life 2 with
all settings on high expect for textures which was on medium.

It has a PCI-E Mobility Radeon x600 GPU which works great with older games.

If you want me to try any other games, send me a message.

  • what hard drive you?

  • But I would really like to see you run BF2 (if yours has a total of 128 MB of VRAM in the first place) as well as the original FEAR demo if you have 256 MB of VRAM with your particular x600 GPU.

  • What's the amount of VRAM + kind + setup (amount dedicated/shared)? I had a Gateway MX7515 I bought in January 2006. It had the X600 with 64 MB dedicated + 64 shared. Always wondered how much better it would've done with 64 dedicated + 192 shared/128 ded + 128 shar/256 MB ded. instead. The laptop probably would've ran games alot better with another 512 MB or 1 GB on top of the 1 GB it came with, especially with BF2 which would eat most of the RAM.
