The Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra was formed in February 2010 by students of the Franz Liszt Music Academy. Since the beginning the professional motivation of the orchestra has been the example of János Rolla, artistic director of the world-famous Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra. The members of the orchestra are equally motivated by the joy of playing music together, their dedication to the quality of music and professionalism. The aim of the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra is to play a role in the renewal of Hungarian musical life and to convey values through music to every generation. All of these are well reflected in the name: anima musicae - the soul of music.
