Another Cash for clunkers grave yard. I Know its not the dealers. I think the program could have helped alot of the lower class folks get into some safe transportation had it been better planned. Our tax dollars are being ground up and the poor still are driving unsafe clunkers.

This hurts my heart to see these once proud vehicles being reduced to worthless scrap. The waste is just so senseless. You could really have made a difference in the lives of people with these supposed "clunkers."

Yes it is sad and really hard for me when I am trying to help unemployed and poor folks keep their old wrecks running. Our government decides to use our tax dollars to kill good cars and make the parts unusable. Makes no sense. The other side of the coin is the people that took the deal will have to pay very high taxes on the 3500 as it is declared as income,,,,, Thanks for watching my videos!!!

I went back later and looked inside of the car. They had applied the goverment sticker to the lock up engine. Interior was perfect. 64000 miles on her clock. I talked to a salesman that said the customer wanted the rebate even though the car was worth far more. His divorced wife owned it prior. What a waste!

Our local Honda dealer is now trying to find replacement engines to replace many of the ones they locked up. Turns out not all of their "clunkers" were approved!!!

Stupidest program initiated by human beings. Only a Pelosi or Obot would admire this nonsense.

The Two lots I visited had not locked the engines unless they had the approval from Washington. There are alot of dealers jumping the gun and they will pay in the end.

this program was the worst decision made since Germany decided to invade Poland! i would have been proud to drive most of those! i only saw like 5 real clunkers in that lot. Cadillacs? Volvos? they looked brand new! with a bit of TLC 90% of those trucks and suvs would look mint! and for what? so people can buy a new car and make payments they cant afford when these were fine and paid off? it takes more energy to build hybrids and destroy these nice cars rather than just keep these running. fuck
