I was eager to create an Anime Music Video with a SteamPunk feel to it. This video combines the anime SteamBoy with Abney Park's "Building Steam" from their newest Album "AEther Shanties"

Steamboy...(sigh)...I finally watched it. It has some nice visuals, but it's horrible, unfinished pile of nonsense. I am pretty sure that the movie had a huge potential, but that's pretty much the problem: this movie has never been finished. Final result doesn't make sense. Horrible storyline, shallow characters and twisted moral values (if there are any) ruined it all.
If you want nice animations, go ahead. But if you want a finished movie-skip it.

I always say a sign of a good AMV is if I know nothing about the series and come out of the video wanting to watch it. I had never heard of Steamboy and I actively dislike steampunk as a genre, and yet I've watched this video three times now. Great job!

that is now my favorite song and i love the movie steamboy that is my favorit movie and i am one giant steampunk fan :3
