This tree won a progressive styling contest in 2007. During that time it went from the ground, was trained, and lastly potted. Since then I have been letting it recover and just doing basic maintenance. I decided that it was finally time to work on this tree again. This video discusses the history of this tree, the work to be done and finally highlights the results of the work.

  • I like your second front better,it looks like a tree that was on a farm where I played as a child.

  • John: Here's a wild thought: Put that tree in a growing bed for about two years, and let the highest apex get about 8 to 12 inches higher. Then the second apex would not compete with it, but would function as a back branch. This would also help alleviate the weakness in the lowest branch.
