i bought a d945gbo to replace the d945gcz mobo in my gateway gt5012 and was wonderin this: where do i get the front panel to make use of 4x usb headers (total is 8x usb w/ 4 in rear port) when my original pc only has 3x usb (1 usb w/ media card reader & 2x usb w/ 2x firewire(i dont need this) & the mic/headphone jacks)? installation of mobo will be done by a pro of course, not myself.

Hi try google for 'front panel' and look for front panels with 4 usb connectors. There are front panels for 3.5 '' slot and for 5.4 inch slots. I am too busy to help you all the way through. I'm sorry :(

How do i make sure that the new motherboard that i am making will align perfectly with the multiple screw holes of my case? do most cases have multiple screw holes to align the motherboard with? are all motherboards a set size? or do i run the risk that even if my new motherboard does fit in my case, it still won't align with the screw holes?
