yea no seperate category but i think its dumb how comidies automatically get a boot. IT seems like the formula for winning is making serious films when alot of comedies are actually really good films. i think he just wants to fix the problem of comedy flicks being under rated as oscar contenders.

I don't think they should have a separate category for comedies. Doing that would cheapen the art form by implying that comedy is easier (or harder) than drama or fantasy. If you are going to have a Best Comedy category, you might as well have a Best Action and Best Sci-Fi while you're at it.
I agree with most everything else said, though.
