Actor Wallace Shawn reads the 1988 words of author and founding member of HIV AIDS advocacy group ACT UP, Vito Russo. Part of a reading from Voices of a People's History of the United States (Howard Zinn and Anthony Arnove,) May 2, 2007 in New York, New York.
Wallace Shawn said "no one else seems to be noticing"...well I completely hear you but your problem is just like anybody else with their own problem, no one else gives a shit. If i am "dying" from cancer and my family is tearing apart, its all still my problem. Others won't care because it doesn't affect them. We easily throw away food but kids in some countries die from lack of food in general- forget nutritious food. as long as i don't starve, its not my problem others are starving.
