Tim was way out there, but what an amazing human being. He tried to show us that we can march to the beat of our own drum if we choose to, and that made him a dangerous subversive. The fabulous documentary on his life (Bring Me the Head of Timothy Leary), made in 1991, just after his death, is one of the most remarkable ever made. We need people like him more than ever in this world of grey flannel suits and corporate greed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Leary back in the days when I worked security in a bar in Fresno..this was about four years or so before he died..nice man.
