yeah my buddy just got an R1...i havent got to really ride it hard yet cuz he needs a new rear tire. so i cant wait to get on his. its nice. 04 i think. but yeah i love riding. never give up. lol i used to ride when i still couldnt walk. but yeah keep in touch! anyone sellin a TL?? or any other sport bike?

whoever is talking shit must have never rode a TL1000R!!!! them bikes n my eyes r very sick. i will own another 1 even after my crash on 9-11-06 that about killed me. bout lost my foot. yeah i was up on 1....hit a sign @ over 80 ripping my foot to pieces. i love them. they have nasty torque. lots of horse. and are fast as fuck! also there is a resistor u can put on it to get full throttle 1st-3rd gear which stock u cannot. for whatever reason they did that?? lol but go ride 1 if u have balls!!!

Sorry too hear about your foot. Hope youll get too walk again man.
But yeah its a great bike. But once youve ridden an R1 the TLR feels a bit heavy on twistet roads but the sound a TLR makes is so great.

JimTL1000R. WHat modicications have you made? Start by removing all the eco crap and open up the airfilterbox. THat should help you hit the rev limitor in 6. gear.
