Try what he did on the same corner with whatever filter you're using now.

It is worth every penny.

Oh, they mean it is 'indestructible' until it breaks? ;)
But, advertising law is outside my field of expertise - and the filter seems to be quite robust.

After seeing this video... I actually replaced all the filters on all my lenses to Hoya HD... worth the peace of mind that:
1. the front my lenses are protected better, and
2. the Hoya HD's actually don't degrade image quality of expensive lenses.
Kudos to Tokina engineers.

Just opened my camera bag and the filter was shattered. Not sure what had happened but the camera bag must have hit something.

Indestructible is a misnomer.

@ realmike15
I dont think the rubber on the table has that much of affect. Its not like the rubber is soft they are usualy hard. Headbutt a concrete wall then headbutt another concrete wall covered in that thin layer of rubber they are both gonna hurt like hell

I agree, I'd like to see him smash a 30kg mallet on that filter.

@Saggmos95 IIRC, there is a HD CPL filter however.
Indestructible or Indestructible?
i guess it isn't false advertising from where i come from...

@blobrana Well, that would be my spelling error, not theirs. So either, way, no false advertising.

is the HD 58mm any diffrent from Hoya digital filter cir-pl 58mm ???

@Saggmos95 The "HD" indicates the stronger construction. If it doesn't say, "HD," it's a different filter and you should avoid bashing it on the corner of display cases :-)
