I think karen should be considered to have the most beautiful voice in the world when you take into account that she used no vocal acrobatics whatsoever. even barbra streisand used them, albeit brilliantly.

What's amazing is she can act as her own backup singer too, changing the tonal quality of her voice from lead-vocal to softer harmonizing with Richard (noticeable in the pickup line "the one who loves me"). She was a great talent.
