  • Predatory lending only applies to the stupid, not the poor.

I used check cashing agencies in college. I wasn't making big bucks, but I realized that putting just a few bucks in the bank I could cash my check at the bank and save the fee.

    Government can't fix stupid.

That guy's question is just some feel good BS. If we did follow his advice, the stupid would do something somewhere else equally stupid, thus assuring they'll be poor.

Genius has it's limits, stupid doesn't.

  • Excellent questions my Question to this is why CNN did not use any of those questions they wasted our time and manipulated us I can only imagine how is going to be the democrat debate ...I guess not worth of wasting time to the lyres and manipulators...they wish to enslave us chip us and destroy us if they could... Do we have to let them do this to us or to Restore the Constitutional Republic of the US? RP 08&12

  • This whole debate was a set-up!

Hillary, Obama and Edwards all planted questions and CNN (Clinton News Network) says it didn't know but claim they recieved over 5,000 videos and it just so happens that several of the planted questions got in? Bullshit!

  • November 28, 2007 Poll at CNN.c om Who do you think won the debate? 1. Ron Paul 62% 1967 votes 2. Mike Huckabee 19% 611 votes 3. Mitt Romney 7% 232 votes 4. John McCain 7% 218 votes 5. Rudy Giuliani 4% 112 votes 6. Fred Thompson 1% 38 votes 7. Duncan Hunter 0% 15 votes 8. Tom Tancredo 0% 5 votes Total: 3198 votes
  • Here (below) are the counts for how long each candidate spoke during the first part of the debate:

    Romney -- 7:03, during 9 times

    McCain -- 5:09, during 4 times

    Giuliani -- 5:08, during 9 times

    Thompson -- 4:38, during 4 times

    Huckabee -- 4:14, during 5 times

    Paul -- 3:27, during 4 times

    Tancredo -- 2:20, during 4 times

    Hunter -- 2:16, during 3 times

Paul did not get his chance until more than a half hour into the debate.

  • Well... not only didn't CNN/YouTube use my children's "AWESOME" video question but the so-called "debate" was a Romney (very glib), Guiliani, McCain, Thompson and Huckabee (disingenuously co-opting some of Dr. Paul's views) love-fest (where the biased or inept - take your pick - moderator largely ignored Dr. Paul, Tancredo and Hunter) and the vast majority of video questions used, and the predictable glib responses, were a colossal waste of time. Even so, in the end, Dr. Paul shined through.

  • Ron Paul 08! The truth.

  • When I was a Human Resources Mgr in Hawaii, it was up to the EMPLOYER to provide health insurance to those who worked 20+ hours and those who didn't work were covered (at NO cost to the insured!) by the STATE.

Why can't the mailand states do this? (It was called S.H.I.P. : State Health Insurance Program).

  • Actions always speak louder than words and Hollywood movies!
