  • After you install the EWI software on your lappie, plug the EWI into the computer and let it turn on automatically- (you will see the green light come on the EWI) do this BEFORE you launch ableton. If you launch ableton then plug in the EWI, it will not recognize it.

  • Please help! I have the EWI USB and I am trying to configure it to ableton live 8.2.1 but I cant figure out how to make live recognize the EWI. can you tell me how you plugged the usb into ableton? my computer has 2 USB 3.0 slots and one 2.0(PC)Laptop
