I read one of the comment on charice video that she will be appearing in Oprah show sept 2, so i was waiting for somebody to upload her video i can't wait to see!

26citabensurto, it was a replay of Oprah's May 18, 2009 episode when Charice debuted her Note to God single.

She should definitely go to the US and stay there until her career is really established. If she stays in the Philippines, nothing will happen to her career. They'll just use her while she's still got that whole "international fame" still going for her... but once that's all over, they'll forget about her again. The only reason why she's famous in the Philippines is because she got recognized in another country. Before her international stints, they could care less about her...

Thats why I dont like the philippine entertainment industry is because they show looks over talent, AND those looks are westernized, no average Filipinos. Please dont reply to me if you cant even fully comprehend what I am saying.

@springichoose But it needs to change, the reason why they judge talent by looks its becos of the their/filipino mentality. Look at your media, its full of people who doesnt represent the average or even above average looking philipino? its full of eurasians or very good looking japanese/chinese, whys that? they should have some south asian pride. It paints a picture you lot dont embrace your own kind.

@HDsharp ? im just being honest and want my fellow countrymen to realize that there are a loooot of talented filipinos that do not get a chance due to the ent. industry at the philippines that judges your acting/singing solely on looks. its not losing respect if one admits their faults.

@bachadmirer Thats why she is so good, she has merged the talents of the mega divas and packaged it into one, she is who she is, a talent with multidimensional qualities, shes fansdinating. She sounds charice and is charice now. She is so versatile, like water..:) and shes extremely intelligent.
