Most of these RJ45 crimping tools have a cutter that is partially covered with a metal hook on one side that looks like some sort of stopper. On one tool I have, there's two sets of blades, and one of them has this seem metal hook/stopper. I have yet to see anyone make use of that part of the blade. Any idea how it is used/what its purpose is?
