every time I wash the 217 the bristles spread like crazy.. even when i put the brush guard, the shape of them aren't like when i first bought it..

Thanks for that! I'll try out some chapsticks. Never thought of those!
As for the glosses, I only like light colours I've already got all of the MAC ones without glitter. I think I'll have to just keep looking around haha :)
