I don't hate pandas, but why do people spend so much money on trying to save them? What do they do? They just eat! And they don't even try to have sex to repopulate their dying species! The one and only reason people like them is because they're cute, that's it! And then there are sharks, creatures who actually do something, and no one gives a rats ass about those! And why? Because they aren't cute! Again, I don't hate pandas, it's the people who annoy me.

I don't care what they say! I am obsessed with panda's! I would cry if I ever got the chance to see one in person and I am actually thinking about taking a trip to China that cost $4,117 to fly there and about $200 to hold a panda cub for 3 minutes and a picture with it. I really don't care I really love panda's and I will do anything to have the chance to see one and yes I would watch a panda eat bamboo for 8 hours! Panda's are the most amazing animals in the world.

I can see why they feel a bond with Tai. First, Tai's birth was a happy surprise. No keeper was even on duty because no one knew his mom Mei was pregnant. Since the moment he was born, a live cam captured his every move, 24/7 for 4 yrs. The camera even had sound! All of this helped people feel like they knew Tai. You also have to realize that many D.C. residents had waited 30 years for a panda cub. LingLing, the panda mama before Mei, had 5 cubs that didn't survive. This is why Tai is special.
