There are several 3d options in The Polynomial. Some require special 3d glasses or monitors but in this split screen mode all you have to do is cross your eyes to see the effect. I think it looks great but it gets painful to the eyes after a while.

A good way to see the effect easily in this video is to put the video full screen HD, then put your right hand near your right eye to shield the right side of the picture while leaving the left half in view to your right eye. At the same time put your left hand over your left eye to shield the left side and leave the right side in view to your left eye. Then gently cross your eyes. You should see a skinny version of your monitor in between your hands, displaying a 3d video.

Or the way I do it is cross my eyes till I see 3 images instead of just 2, then move my hands in from the sides to block the 2 outside images. It isn't necessary to do the part with the hands but it blocks the distracting outside images. The middle image is the one that is in 3d.
