Intended for Park University CS151 students, this tutorial will help you navigate the installation of the Java Development Kit (JDK). It is NOT intended to replace the entire tutorial, but rather to act as a supplement. If you are getting a .dll error when you install the JDK, this tutorial provides a work-around. The video quality can be slightly improved by setting your screen to the maximum allowable number of pixels (lower left corner).

  • @Reloaded: Super! Happy programming!

  • @BriceOnIce: I hope you are joking. The addresses listed on each computer will be different. If you really did erase it, do a system restore. That should bring them back, and you should still have the files downloaded. However, if you didn't save the changes after your "accident", don't worry. Just re-open the window, everything should still be there.

  • at 5:42 in the video, when you were pasting whatever in 'path' did you just replace everything that was in variable value or just add a colon at the end of what was there befor and then paste it.

  • @crtnyetsitty VERY IMPORTANT! Do not erase the address that are already there! Add a semi-colon, then paste. That's your dynamic link library, it helps programs "find" each other.
