O.A.R., short for Of A Revolution, may not be underground for much longer. The band has recorded their most radio friendly hit in "Love And Memories" from their new album, Stories Of A Stranger, and it's slowly creeping up the charts. The band recently sold out the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City, not exactly an easy feat.
Guitarist/vocalist Marc Roberge talked about breaking into the mainstream while holding on to the audience that has made them a grassroots phenomenon.
O.A.R. continues a winter tour February 1 at Paul E. Tsongas Arena in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Dates currently run through February 26.

putting songs like Living in the end and war song with songs like shattered and whatever happened was a smart move by the band. Even though I may not be a fan of shattered there are plenty of people who are so as long as there is music for both fan bases so be it The last concert I went to was by far the biggest and even though there are different kinds of fans there I don't care. I'm there to listen to the music not worry about the obsessive bitches screaming shattered at the top of there lungs

They have always been a great live band because they play their instruments so well that they sound as good on stage as they do in the studio.
This is a great album, I have listened to them for about 8 years and there is always a song or 2 that I don't care for but stop the sellout crap. It sounds childish and selfserving. " They were better back when no one knew who they were" Bulls&!t
Mettallica "Sold Out" with the Black album too, They survived and became the highest selling Rock band. Idiots

Everytime an underground band starts doing well, some fans have to yell "sellout". These guys are Better than they were 10 years ago. They have played together and harmonized their sound. They can also afford the best instruments, mixers, producers now so there sound will be more polished.
