    What is the bodybuilding function of the deficit deadlift?

  • it's more powerlifting, but it aids you in helping move the bar off the floor. My sticking point on deadlifts is usually getting the bar off the floor

  • @n2rollerblading you do realize that stopping between each rep and not bouncing the weight off the floor actually makes it MORE difficult in a deadlift right? I appreciate your expert insight

  • Nice. Intense. Kinda silly he's singing P.O.D. but I digress.... He likes to bring attention to himself but thats ok. Shows a lot more strength than all the clowns doing super heavy rack pulls.

  • @biolayne false, from the deficit you need to lower your ass a LOT to start the new rep, you could not bounce it and gain the same amount of help you get by the technique of lowering your ass down and bouncing out of the hole.

    Look at how you lower the weight, legs are virtually straight, had you bounced at the bottom there is no way you could generate enough leg power to get the rest of it up, stopping between reps to get your compsure is easier on the life (correct lifting, but not harder)

  • I guarantee anyone that calls him a fag can't deadlift anywhere near this much. Especially not on a 3 inch board. I say congrats, and I hope I can get to this strength level some day

  • finally someone is alive at the gym lifting heavy and getting loud, that's what gyms are really for but alas to many rules and to many how shall I say hmmmmm bitches go there piss and moan and we now have a family type atmosphere where getting stronger takes a back seat to pc This guy is someone to watch and learn from.......
