Peter Gabriel - Lovetown - 1993 MULTICAM audience

Lovetown, live in 1993 during the Secret World tour. This track, which was a B-side of the 'US' album, was played on the early leg of the tour with full theatrics. Sadly it was gone from the setlist by the time the official video was filmed, and so there's no pro-shot footage of this around.

This video has been compiled and restored using 5 different audience-shot videos from the first leg of the tour. Now you can see Lovetown in more enjoyable quality than what's out there as single-cam, shaky, footage! :)

Just checked the web and it looks like he stopped playing this song on the two dates in London before the tour jumped the pond and landed back in the States which is where I saw him in Worcester, MA. I guess my memory isn't as bad as I thought!

This is a beautiful song. I saw him on his Secret World Tour and I don't remember him playing this either. Then again, I don't remember what I did yesterday much less what exact track was played at a concert over 16 years ago. Thanks for posting this vid! What I do remember is that Peter Gabriel live rocked my socks off!

I agree about "More Than This" - one of his most spiritually evocative songs - but I emphatically disagree that Lovetown is in the same league as Kiss That Frog" - ??? Kiss That Frog is pure pop, whereas Lovetown has SOUL and is ever SO tasty.
