  • LOL There're a lotta possibilities. Personally, my proposal would likely require a signifigantly different approach to hive construction and human integration. If and as life is lost - one potentially effective ectogenesis route might integrate "internal"(VR) mating also using evolutionary vars consduscive to current "external survival" / accounting for external environment and desired resilience.

Seems like real mating(VR) - hosts are matched based on most similar and other vars.

  • gary the point is there are humans making and flying the drones, and humans making operating the surgical robots. and humans are necessary to make more humans to do these human things.

  • in order to create new superior new virtual brains, do you plan to have sex with other brains or with the maintenance robots? or will all procreation cease upon the implementation of VR and foreverafter only existing brains will exist??

  • I thought he made sense...Like you, I didn't agree with everything he said...BUT you have to admire the fact that he thought so hard about this...He did lots for my neurons.

PLEASE reread David Bohm...Wholeness and the Implicate Order...SEE I think we are necessary to the universe as much as other part of it...To me it's a struggle of life vs death...The natural vs the manufactured...We don't have to be a master race..We need to be wiser than the horror. That's the real game. NOT VIRTUAL GAMES!

  • Looks like case for the Guinness Book of Records.

  • modular partswap - piece of cake

  • Yah man, we can already make self-repairing robots -- and it's not like we're gonna need very many robots for maintenance anyhow. How often does a guy need to fix his playstation or television? If it's well designed - virtually never. At that rate, how hard would it be to get one robot to fix the other?

  • 63? wow lol
