Sorr people my mistake i found out that possums dont bite. Oh and we took it to a place with lots of trees and othor possums. :)

I am glad also that you did not hurt it but really you should have just let it stay around they are very good to have in your neighborhood. They don't bite unless they are backed into a corner, they DO NOT carry Rabies, They do eat mice,rats,poisonous and other snakes, cockroaches, spiders, rotten fruit and veggies. They never bother your other animals however they will stand their ground if attacked but usually will escape if possible. And they usually move on in a few days. You were honored.
