@DIKT123 The problem you refer to is due to treaties with European countries after WWII which made the US the military shield against the Sovied Union. The US still as troops in England, Germany, France, Japan and others 65 years after WWII. Europe could not afford socialized medicine, schooling, etc. if they had to direct a larger part of their GNP toward defense which the US gives them as long as they continue to buy US Bonds, treasury bills, etc. It can be sustained much longer.
