i wouldnt doubt if the gopro hd or hd2 are the best action cameras out there, but they're so dam expensive. the hd itself is $200 and the full on hd2 is at $300. there are plenty of action cameras out there that are much cheaper and meet the average youtube user's resolution needs. the crocolis hd is one, its $170 but as far as features & quality go it sits between the gopro hd & hd2. gopro just gets more publicity, & is usually used by action buffs through sponsorship deals.

I like my HD-170.
being able to adjust what way the lens is facing is pretty awesome. I must say I really like the quality of the GoPro a lot more though. The audio for the stealth is pretty poor too.. just constant wind.

It's too cold in the video for the Drift to perform it's best.
GoPro are classed as pretty much hardcore cameras, the Drift on the otherhand has greater depth of view. Weather permitting. Batteries can be effected, cleararity can be effected also.

Gopro better, but new hd drift smaller shape and twist lens and changable lens. Hard to choose, quality video or small camera ?
