Dec. 2007 From 1pm to 5 pm the whole city of Junin shut down for siesta hour. Afternoon nap. My last area Junin was campo or country side. My missionary companion from Chile, practiced speaking English during this time. We missionaries continued walking looking for someone to teach.

  • This part of the city of Junin in the Buenos Aires province was rural.

This video shows the siesta hour (afternoon nap) in the local Argentine culture. The entire city practically shut down. Although there we some days when we were able to find some people to share the gospel with during this time.

My missionary companion from Chile also liked to practice her English during this time. We have both finished our 18 month missions and are now home.

I had a wonderful time in Argentina.
