http://www.pitchingacademy.net Many little league pitchers have arm problems and much is to blame on their pitching mechanics. Many Little League pitchers have the tendency to drop their elbow too much when they throw the ball causing arm pain. Also many pitchers at this level push the ball instead of throw it.

  • go with the second position he shows. where the ball is pointing more towards 3rd base or the dugout if your pitching. don't point it back towards centerfield. doing that puts unnecessary tension/strain on the UCL or the medial epicondyle (which would be the case for most little leaguers because their growth plates are still open).

  • You mentioned the use of bands in this video. What are your thoughts about the Jaeger Sports j-bands and their long toss program?
