  • This is what Vince mcmahon has taken away from wrestling and wrestling ,with his sports entertainment,as a child in the 80s ,born in 1976.not one time ,did my father take me to see "Sports entertainment" however we went to see Wrasslin ,on a regular basis

  • 70's pro-wrestling was the best because you had an older fan base that grew up on 50's wrestling and really hated the heels, everybody sold moves and it wasn't mass marketed like a breakfast cereal. Sure hardcore and hybrid is neat to watch, but there is no suspended disbelief and when the guys get seriously hurt, the fans can't tell until the EMTs come out.

This is slower passed but with a story line you gave a damn about, today's mainstream wrestling is for people with short attention spans.

  • @freedo333 he's speaking farsi, the language of Iran

  • is the sheik guy speaking arabic? what language is that? just curious.. i love it when, after getting presumably punched in the balls, the sheik falls to the floor & adjusts his knee padding before doubling over in pain. he should win an oscar

  • This is when wrestling was great!

  • yeah, i hear you I was born in 75 myself and went to a lot of portland wrestling when they came to my town. I sure miss it and wish my boys could see it.

  • yeah too bad he did not archive the matches it would have only cost him twenty five dollars a week for kptv 12 to save them. Don could be a cheap ass even thou he was millionare cattle rancher.

  • What is funny is Dutch Savage gave up wrestling and is a preacher (I think SDA) out of Hazeldell, WA I see him on local cable access when I switch channels.

  • The good ole days of Portland Wrestling almost every show had blood or broken bones. Nothing like the crap WWE pushes on us now. That is Bull Ramos.I met him, Jessie Ventura, and a several others when i helpe set up the ring when they played at Stevenson High School in the 70's. I still recall ole Spike Simon picking a fight with Bull Ramos and getting his ass kicked.

  • I wish Don owen would have saved the tapes he complained that it cost like fifty dollars a week while he was a millionare cattle rancher what a cheap ass don was wasn't he. I mean no consideration for the future.

  • For that awesome tidbit, I send you the Commemorative Playboy Buddy Rose memorial Burgerville USA "I worked hard for this body" t-shirt (If of course I actually had one!)
