The second of two clips from a Cold War 'relic' unearthed from the "Golden Age of Homeland Security" - Community Shelter Planning starring Gene Hackman as Civil Defense Regional Officer Donald Ross. The 22 minute training film was made by the Office of Civil Defense/DOD, a forerunner of FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security. The film does not appear in the actor's filmography... for more details see CONELRAD's production history at www.conelrad.com/hackman

Didn't the Soviet Union colapse?
And wasn't it a joke even before that?

Back then everyone use to be paranoid as shit about a nuclear attack. My father said all the time when he was a kid they would have nuke attack drills in school and they had to duck and cover under their desk, as if that would help in a nuke attack "Hey, an A-Bomb just landed on your school, but this tiny school desk will save you!" Freakin BS The Russians were doing a lot more damage by infiltrating our Government than any A-bomb. Look what they did to the Democrat party! It's all Marxist now.
