My Korean Jindo Dog

This is a brief tribute to my little Jindo pup. Her name is Kaya (Kah-ya). She was born in Korea on July 4th 2007. We live happily now in Vancouver Canada. Thanks Hovig for taking a lot of these photos. I love you Kaya!

No you can get them in Canada - I just got her from my neighbors litter in 07 while I was living and teaching there and then moved back to Canada in 09 and brought her with me.

Im really curious about how you got your puppy out of korea an the ins and outs of what it cost you. I would really like to do the same.

It was easy - tell the airline you need a ticket for your dog - pay for it. Get a valid rabies cert. to prove it's had it shots - get on a plane. Canadian customs was easy, no quarantine - out the door in about an hour.

When Jindos are little they dont look like jindos at all when they get older they all have on distinctive look

I think my Jindo is seriously related to your Kaya. Mine was born July 2007 in Korea too... brought to Los Angeles, Ca... Woojoo and Kaya look almost identical. Wow this is the closest I've seen to look like her.
