  • there are several reasons i'll consider this car...

    1. I don't like Toyota, Chevy or Honda.

    2. I'm a first time buyer, and I need something on the less expensive side

    3. decent MPG, since i'll be commuting to and from school.

I think this ride is a great value, honestly. Of course though, after hearing all of the complaints, I wonder how it will stack up against chryslers updated 200? reviewers seem to like that thing...it would be kind of funny if a Chrysler has better build quality than a VW.

  • japan: good reliability , peaky engine, no soul driving experience

germany: excellent reliability, torque y engine, amazing driving experience

  • High cost in Thailand

  • This cost at least US$85000 for 1.4litres model in Singapore

  • TDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I got a mark 5 jetta and love it I don't think vw screwed up when they lowered the quality like hard plastics drum brakes and a torsion beam. The civic and corolla are the exact same we are just used to the excellent quality vw gives us. The 2012 corolla is hideous and the new Honda civic is.... Well a honda civic, nothing special I see tons of jetted where I live which means sales are way up and they did a good job. Vw FTW!!

  • the older jetta was a better car but it is now cheaper and better looking.

  • the 2010-present Volkswagen Jetta is assembled in

    Puebla, Mexico

    Aurangabad, India

    Jakarta, Indonesia

  • @mista925 this is $15,000 (min) in Canada!

  • @luminaeus not honda or toyota, driven 2009 honda civic si, its boring, 2009 camry its boring, never driven a korean car, so cant say anything

  • @MegaAnthraxSlayer

Generally when people think Japanese cars they think of the two biggest producers of boring econoboxes, Honda and Toyota. Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, and Mitsubishi have more interesting cars, but they're not dominating the market.

Korean cars are bland econoboxes just like Honda and Toyota. A Hyundai might look sporty but the driving dynamics aren't there. Vague, numb steering, body roll, poor balance. The Genesis Coupe is merely OK, but a V6 Camaro, Mustang, or 370z are better.

  • @luminaeus oh of course now japs cars are boring bland, but its only toyota, u never heard anything from mazda, infact they make great driving machine, like a jap bmw, they are way better than toyota, korean does make awesome ass cars, in fact to me they already surpassed most jap car company and that include honda, but u know what i mean
