FIREFIGHTERS ARE THE TRUE HEROES, AS THEY RISK LIFE AND LIMB FOR AN UNGRATEFUL PUBLIC, SANS THE SELF-ENTITLEMENT ATTITUDES AND UNWARRANTED GOD COMPLEXES OF POLICE OFFICERS. I RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT MY FORMER NEIGHBOR IS NOW ONE OF THE HIGHEST RANKING CHIEFS IN THE PHILADELPHIA FIRE DEPARTMENT! I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER, BECAUSE HE IS A SUPER NICE GUY AND IS FROM A FAMILY OF HONORABLE, KIND, HARDWORKING, DEDICATED FIREFIGHTERS.

I have always been forever grateful for these men and women who sacrifice so much to save lives. I personally did not know this gentleman, but my heart and prayers are with this family. Thank you so much for your dedication to our city. Peace be with you, and God Bless your family through this tough time.
