no worries. I appreciate all the comments.

he normally looks 'asian' with puffy eye lids. But, I'll keep an eye on him.

Your son's eyes do look incredibly puffy...have you had this checked out or is it just part of his / just rolled out of bed look? Could be edema due to high salt intake/dehydration - or even thyroid? I'm sure you have...

Sorry, I didn't mean to pick at ya! I thought maybe I had missed some well known comedy skit out there...and you were spoofin' it. Okay...we'll just call it humor / definition : funny stuff. ('kay?)

I would like Daylight Savings Time to go away actually. My understanding is that there's no proof that it improves productivity, which from what I've gathered, is the purpose of Daylight Savings Time. I think that's because it's extremely difficult to prove. I just hate having to adjust to and from it, also way the dates keep getting changed is tough to keep up with.

it's not to improve productivity, it's to end the day with more day light. It would be just as easy to start the work day at 7AM in the summer instead of 8 AM. Then the clocks would not have to change.

That one is funny.
I hope your son know that you were joking. Otherwise he will start to tell this to his friends and teachers.

Yes, they know that I was kidding. Did you see the other "Global Warming Lessons" videos? I do what I can to teach them about the issues of the day, sometimes in a silly way.

Yeah, I've just watched them.
It's a little weird : are you really concerned about global warming ?
As for me, I'm not really concerned about it. Quite the contrary, in fact... I never turn my computer off and I sleep with my radio on all the time. It's sad, I know.

I am concerned, and I do believe people (human activities) are contributing to the increase in CO2. But I don't believe any action taken even on a grand global scale will reduce carbon emissions any time soon. Perhaps it will take a century. And even then, it's easy for the wealthy nations to say 'do this' or 'do that' but the poor nations have little choice. Still, hypocrisy of being against global warming and still wasting power and causing carbon pollution ... well, it's delicious.
