    I am aware this reply is coming eight months after you originally asked, but from what I remember of the times I visited my father at the WTC, the plaza was level with the street, with the exception of perhaps the Sphere and the fountain.

    Bad memories? Really? As a New Yorker that was born in New York City I witnessed those towers while they were alive and I saw them destroyed on 9/11. It was a tragedy of course, but as a New Yorker you don't dwell in them. Instead you move on. Not just that instead of saying bad memories I decided to remember the people and the towers for what they were and not what happened on that day. So instead of bringing bad memories I remember them for what they were. The Towers are still alive.
