Renowned cricketer turned politician Imran Khan pointed out that there wasn't much scope for community service unless the fight for survival of civic society is won. He said that history bears testimony to the fact that young people all over the world are the driving force behind every revolution that becomes a turning point in the life of their nations. He urged the youth to learn to fight for their rights. This, he said, is the only way to stop the injustice and cruelty prevalent in the world at large. He reminded the captive audience that a secure future for them was possible only if they overcome the passivity and submissive attitude. He motivated them to rise to the occasion by referring to Iqbal's vision of self respect.
