is the 07 g35 the redisigned model? if so then yea you would be neck and neck but if its an 05 you would lose by a few car lengths to the 300c

pretty damn close considering a 3.5 v6 vs a 5.7 hemi!! V8. race a v6 3.5 300c vs a g35 and the G will walk everytime. raced one last night in my g and it was pathetic.

i dont think many people know this but the close ratio gearing in the 300c's allow for quick accelleration. Where they suffer is above 220/kmhr but who drives that fast on the street? Alot of the Jap Imports dont have close ratio gearing and thats why Jap Import drivers always have a shocked look on their face when they see my 2tonne silver beast throwing dust into their Air Intake. Its not just about power to weight. gearing plays a part also.

Yeah 300C are fast, but that race would have been a different story if it was a 07 and up G35S.
