@TheAverageG8mers "Shots" were fired a long time before Fort Sumter, South Carolina where no one actually was killed due to military fire in that exchange. Haven't you heard that words are more powerful than weapons? Lincoln's actions of sending in thousands of Union troops into Manassas, Virginia over that skirmish was not warranted whatsoever. actually the war started over MONEY not slavery, Lincoln himself owned slaves, and the only reason the only reason he abolished slavery is for the simple fact that Great Britain was going to come over here and side with the confederacy and Lincoln didnt want that, and for another thing, if it was about slavery then why did every southern state have black regiments and black militants fighting, thats why nothern schools need to teach all history including southern history

for those of you that are not from the SOUTH you do not understand . we as a people ha ve suffere d here in DIXIE every since the war of northern aggression aka civil war i have heard stories from my great grandfather of hardships that still ran from the war until early 1900's of being poor and struggling because of the pillaging ,burning and raping of the south ,ever noticed how the SOUTH still comes last today with govenment funding etc
