@soz4reality Yes, we need to work on efficiency. As for his smoke ring demo, this is usually the way that small children are taught about how a jet engine works. He thinks, he's discovered something ground breaking.

@Nomoreidsleft yeah, the harrier is being replaced with the new F-35.. but that isnt efficient, its just taking a buttload of fuel, burning it up with compressed air and simply pointing it to the ground.. also, i didnt quite get the smoke thing either.. lol

@soz4reality You turn the engine so that it point the exhaust to the ground. Have you seen the harrier jet or the new US Joint Strike Fighter? He also does not explain how the smoke ring demonstrated results in antigravity either.

@Nomoreidsleft a jet engine only propels the aircraft forward. it is not how the aircraft is able to create "lift", but it merely helps by creating an airflow under the wings in such a way that the craft is pushed upward by the air.
