Was he gay? I remember him driving his brand new Porche 928 with his newly married young blond wife through East Germany to go to West Berlin. When he arrived at West Berlin a reporter asked him "so how was it?" expecting an answer about his young wife. Karajan replied "this is the best thing happened in my life, pointing at his brand new 928.

Can't believe it!
Someone forgot to sing "Deine" on 21:34!
Besides this, everything is so perfect!
Karajan must have heart attack by this.

Surely it can't be conceptually worthless if its existance alone has inspired works such as this?

Would an atheist be able to write of Elysium, or of a loving God in his heaven, or each man a brother?

They're Christian concepts, therefore you can't enjoy Ode to Joy and say 'Christianity is conceptually worthless'.
