30 mins later!!.....

@Hallo503 noo the disk jumped to hyperdrive! Silly =P

@SpiderOleg nah sorry dude. Energy cannot be created, the amount of energy you put into the disc (from your hand) is the only energy thats given out ie its only using the energy thats been given to it. not a stupid question if you don't understand energy conservation laws. I'm studying physics at university and i used to think when i was younger you could some how extract the energy from an optical illusion because it looks like its moving. haha how dumb is that. Peace dude

If people find a way to take the energy from this disc, that may be a power supply, right?
(I'm just at 7 grade, lay off)

@shoeginski hah, yes i was going to order one too.
i've done a year of a maths degree and i still have trouble getting my head around euler's formula. it's just totally non-intuitive... we associate exponents with something getting bigger and bigger, but when it's imaginary, it turns into a stable rotation... taylor series make it clear that it's true, but as for a more visceral reason, i'm utterly at a loss...

@gorgolyt I had to derive the equation e^(ix)=cos x + i sin x in my modern algebra class using series expansions, and when you substitute pi into that equation, e^(i*pi) + 1 = 0. Absolutely crazy. I'm totally asking for one of these for Christmas.

at 1:45 the camera is too slow for the disk xD

this is wat aliens use to fly....
do u need that stand that the disk is spinning on?

The mirror that the disk spins on is slightly concave and helps the effect. But you can 'spoll' a disk on a level surface... but with a heavy disk you can damage even a concrete floor.
