New model Mazda 2

This is from the British International Motorshow 2008, at ExCeL, London. I used to want a nice, sensible Mazda 3 but now I want one of these, in this colour with those seats!

Only £35 road tax if you buy the right version. The sport is £180 road tax though :( BUT, compared to other sports, that's pretty good.

The new Mazda2 is very, very light, which is why it's emissions are low. acceleration is OK - 0-60mph in 10.4 seconds on the sport, but that's nothing too special. And it looks WAY better than the ols Mazda2

Looking forward to seeing the car in person. I wonder what the gas mileage is like? I would hope that Mazda gave it an independent rear suspension, and real rear disk brakes, unlike toyota, which cuts corners all over the place with their compact cars. I hope this car beats the crap out of the Yaris, and even the Matrix, which is larger than the 2, but, still, Toyota just seems to put out crap, and most people will buy their crap and not question it.
