Recorded January 20, 2004. This is the video of my flight with Paragon Air from Kahului to Hilo and the three stops we made along the way. The video begins with takeoff from the Kahului Airport (OGG). We fly over West Maui and land at the Kapalua Airport (JHM). We now leave the island of Maui and begin flying over the island of Molokai. Our first landing on Molokai is at the Molokai Airport (MKK). Our second landing on Molokai is at the Kalaupapa Airport (LUP) on the northern peninsula of Molokai. After takeoff from Kalaupapa we fly over the beautiful northeast coast of Molokai. We fly over the rarely seen Kahiwa Falls which is the longest cascade in the state of Hawaii. We our now on our way to our final destination of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our flight path takes us directly over the island of Maui. We get nice views of the city of Kahului and Haleakala National Park from the air. The video concludes as we fly over the city of Hilo and land at the Hilo International Airport (ITO). Background music for the video is provided by John Keawe.

  • Which side of the plane do I want to sit when flying in and out of MKK (Hoolehua airport, Molokai) for best views? Left or right? Front or back? I will fly mid morning with Island Air from Honolulu to MKK and then on to Kaluhui, Maui
